Richard Minshall - Director

Richard Minshall is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1979 with an international firm, and then joined the Nottingham office of a national practice in 1980. He became a partner there in 1983 until March 1995 when he left to establish Minshalls.

His expertise is wide ranging, gained from dealing with all matters experienced in approaching 30 years in general accounting practice. In addition to this general work, Richard becomes personally involved in the design and implementation of management reporting systems and financial strategies for many of his clients and provides advisory services to growing companies.

Jo Lomas

Jo is our Administration Manager and PA to Richard Minshall and basically runs the office!  Jo has been with us right from the start!

Sarah Morgan

Sarah is our Practice Manager, and manages the planning of all the work within our accounting-services department. She also deals with most of the routine and various queries often raised by clients or their advisers. Sarah joined us several years ago from a large regional practice.

Helen Burton

Helen joined the firm in January 2009 as our Senior Technical Audit and Compliance Manager, having had many years experience with major national and regional practices.

The accounts department

Catherine Westcott and Tina Tyler are our two senior, fully-qualified accountants; Tina is also responsible for handling and filing all our client companies’ corporation tax returns.

Helena Gunn, Olivia Kavanagh Jones, Lisa Evans and Robert Brown make up the rest of our accounting department, dealing with the preparation of the accounts, and all aspects of VAT and Bookkeeping work.

Pam Cording

Pam is our personal taxation manager and deals with all aspects of individuals’, Directors’ and partnership tax affairs.  She joined us in 2004 having spent some 20 years in national and local practices.

Yana Robertson

Yana handles all payroll and PAYE matters, and is in charge of running our payroll bureau.

Fiona Pownall

Fiona is our receptionist – always ready with a warm welcoming smile !

FINANCIAL SERVICES

Margot Morley

Margot is Director of our Financial Services company. She has had almost 25 years experience within the financial services sector and can offer a wealth of advice in all areas.

Claire State

Claire is our Financial Services Administrator and handles all such administrative matters and paperwork within the Financial Services company.
